Probably worth mentioning that this quest is where enhancement shamans get gimped in Vash.

Quest reward = best enh shaman weapon obtainable via a quest in Vash.Also happens to = only enh shaman shoulders obtainable via a quest in Vash.

Описание

Трансмогрифицируемся в Стражника Штормграда

Если вы провели хоть какое-то время в Штормграде за Альянс, вы наверняка знакомы со стражниками Штормграда. Или же, если вы штурмовали город персонажем Орды, вы тоже с ними познакомились, но не с дружеской стороны. Вид стражников олицетворяет классический вид защитника столицы Альянса. Этот вид не менялся с самого Классика: обычная стальная броня с вставками синего цвета, щит со львом на нем и знаковый шлем, который завершает внешний вид нашего гварда.

С приходом трансмогрификации вы получили возможность превратить себя в одного из таких стражников. Более того, вы сможете создать почти все предметы для этого путем обычного крафта, используя кузнечное дело. Вам даже не потребуется бесконечный фарм. Конечно, если вы игрок Орды, защитники Альянса из-за этого не станут к вам нисколечко дружелюбнее, хотя вы могли бы обмануть игроков, с некоторой вероятностью.

Вид стражника Штормграда

Голова Получить шлем защитника Штормграда можно путем крафта Императорского латного шлема. Требуется Кузнечное дело.
Плечи К сожалению, точной копии в тех же цветах найти не удалось, но зато существуют Императорские латные наплечники, которые будут отличной заменой.
Спина Стражники не носят плащей, потому просто отключите отображение плаща в настройках интерфейса.
Грудь Большая часть вашего честа будет скрыта под гербовой накидкой, но вы могли бы попросить знакомых кузнецов сделать вам Императорское зерцало.
Наручи Вам не нужно трансмогрифицировать наручи вообще, но если вы все-же хотите, то вам нужны Императорские латные наручи.
Руки Тут будет потяжелее. Идеально подходящих перчаток, доступных для игроков, не существует. Потому самым похожим вариантом я бы назвал Боевые латные рукавицы, которые можно найти в зонах 40-го уровня в виде случайного дропа, или на нашем любимом аукционе.
Пояс Попросите друга-кузнеца сделать вам, отлично подходящий к остальному сету, Императорский латный пояс.
Ноги Хотя на Императорский латных поножах нету синих вставок, золотые полосы отлично подойдут под цвета накидки и щита. Попросите кузнецов сделать вам такие.
Боты Из всех ботинок, что существуют в мире Warcraft, самыми похожими я бы назвал Императорские латные сапоги. И хотя они не идеально совпадают с теми, что надеты на стражниках Штормграда, любой, кто окинет вас взглядом, не заметит особой разницы.
Правая рука Тут бы подошел почти любой меч, но я думаю, что самый подходящий - это Длинный меч пехотинца. Он покупается в Оплоте Чести (вы должны быть как минимум 60-го уровня и иметь Почтение с Оплотом Чести).
Левая рука Если вы хотите щит, который бы идеально вам подходил, вам придется сбегать в Кратер Ун'Горо и выполнить задание Баллада о Максимилиане, в награду за которое вы получите Щит Максимилиана, который подходит по форме, цвету и всему прочему.
Гербовая накидка Существует несколько различных табард для игроков Альянса. Вы можете просто купить Штормградскую гербовую накидку за 10 серебряных. Если вы любите PvP, вы могли бы взять Гербовую накидку рядового или Накидку рыцаря, обе можно купить за очки чести. Все эти накидки доступны только игрокам Альянса. Потому игрокам Орды придется пропустить эту часть экипировки.

Вся Императорская броня может быть получена с Кузнечного дела, каждая часть брони требует Ториевые слитки, Грубую кожу. Для шлема нужен Звездный рубин. В качестве альтернатив для щита можно выделить Рыцарский щит командора с Командира Спрингвейла в Крепости Темного клыка (обыч.) или же Эгиду Штормграда, случайно падающую с боссов 50-59-го уровня. Эгида падает очень редко, потому вам лучше пойти убить Командира Спрингвейла, или, что еще проще, все-таки направиться в Кратер Ун'Горо и выполнить задание. И учтите: это латный сет, потому превратить себя в стражника Штормграда смогут только Рыцари Смерти, Воины и Паладины.

Ключевым моментом здесь является не выбор идеально подходящих компонентов, а получение всех доступных частей и соединение их с той броней, которая просто подходит по виду. Хотя это и не идеальное совпадение, вы наверняка обманете многих, если пройдетесь по Штормграду. Итак, если вы хоть раз хотели стать НПЦ или хотели убить Смертокрыла в броне стражника Штормграда - теперь у вас есть шанс.

Многим игрокам нравится внешний вид стражи в Штормграде. Раньше, еще в ваниле, многие игроки покупали предметы экипировки изготовляемые кузнецами, что бы выглядеть как страж. Потом естественно эти вещи стали не актуальны, поскольку максимальный уровень в игре рос все выше и выше. И вот наконец то близзы подарили нам чудо - трансмогрификацию. Теперь можно текущей экипировке придать вид другого предмета.

Штормградский стражник - НИП - World of Warcraft

All town guards are 75 now. and having visited stormwind recently for the stockades and fishing achievement I can say they really aren't too bad. What makes them hard to kill is simply their level (ie you cant hit them very well and when you do it isnt for much) but they don't hit terribly hard, roughly 300-400 on plate and had ~15k hp each. I duck into a building at once point to hide and had 3 follow me in, took a minute or so to kill them but was never in any real danger.

The kings/faction leaders are another story though, they are now level 83 (or higher?) boss mobs so killing one before wotlk is nearly impossible with less then a couple full raids...

Also new to 3.0/WotLK, if you're attacked near town, a guard will spawn and spring to your rescue in a rather large radius around Goldshire, he will then stay there for a set period and then despawn.

Learned this the hard way on my Horde, and observed it a few times to confirm.

Unlike the other city guards, they have no special abilities and will just auto-attack.

rather pathetic for a level 80, im afk with three of them beating on my pally just to see how long it takes alliance to get bored and stop healing them XD. they hit me about 120 at lvl 80

Just a heads up: the guards swim insanely fast (as in faster than my druid in aquatic form), so don't try to escape through the canals if you're lower level and corpse dragging for achievements. Like others have said though, the guards are extremely easy if you're level 80.

Here are some really great sets of gear I have put together for those who might like to role play as Stormwind City guards.

As you can see, these sets do incorporate parts of the Imperial Plate set, but exclude some pieces for aesthetic reasons. As such, they are probably ill-suited for people who want to use the Imperial Plate set for questing and whatnot. These sets are merely for looks.

The first set is intended for Protection Paladins. The second set is intended for Retribution Paladins. The third and fourth sets are for anyone who want to look more like the traditional guards. Feel free to mix and match the shields and weapons to suit your taste.

The overall idea I had behind these sets was to answer a "What if?" I had regarding the employment of Paladins in the Stormwind Army. What would they look like? What weapons would they carry? What roles would they play? Would they be easier or more difficult to defeat by invading Hordies?

I MCed one of these on my Horde priest. They have a shield block ability (Or shield wall?, I think block, the one that only has a 40 sec CD as a prot warrior), as well as revenge, but their revenge can just be used regardless of blocking/dodging/parrying.

Auction House

It is located in the Trade District citizen. It is nearly straight on from the entrance of Stormwind.
Another entrepreneur, eh? Well, the Auction House can be found in the Trade District. Not far from the bank.

Bank of Stormwind

The Bank of Stormwind is located in the Trade District just northwest of the city gates. Here, let me show you on your map.
Stormwind Counting House is located by the front gates in the Trade District of Stormwind. And when you get tired of counting your money, be sure to stop by the Gilded Rose for a drink.

Stormwind Harbor

Stormwind Harbor is the fastest way to get to Auberdine or Valiance Keep. You can find it between the Cathedral District and the Park.
Trying to reach Auberdine or Valiance Keep? You can find Stormwind Harbor if you head through the Canals, between the Cathedral District and the Park.

Deeprun Tram

You've heard about the Tram have you? What a ride that thing is! You'll find it in the Dwarven District towards the back. Oh, and be sure to keep your arms and legs inside the tram while the tram is in motion.
You don't have the stomach for the gryphon ride, huh. Well lucky for you, we have an alternative where you can keep your feet on the ground... more or less. It's the gnomish mover of people, the Deeprun Tram. Conveniently located in the back of the Dwarven District.

The Inn

There are many establishments where you can get a drink in Stormwind, but only one will let you spend the night. Head over to the Gilded Rose in the Trade District. I've heard the cost of a room is reasonable and the sheets are clean.
Ah, The Gilded Rose... with its soft down beds and warm baths... just thinking about that Inn makes me want to... ::yawn:: Lucky you if you're heading over there... you will find it in the west side of the Trade District. ...nice soft pillows, warm blankets. ::yawn::

Gryphon Master

You can find the gryphon master on the northeast rampart overlooking the Valley of Heroes.
Ahhh, you are looking for Dungar Longdrink. He has some of the fastest gryphons this side of Khaz Modan! You can find him up on the ramparts in the Trade District.

Guild Master

You can find Aldwin Laughlin at the Stormwind Visitor's Center in the Trade District.
Ahhh, Stormwind Visitor's Center is what you are looking for then. It's the first building on the left as you walk through the front gates from the Valley of Heroes.

Locksmith

You'll be after Benik Boltshear, then. He's located in the heart of the Dwarven District by the blacksmiths.

Stable Master

If you need to house your pet while you're training another, then you should talk to Jenova Stoneshield over in the Dwarven District.
Jenova Stoneshield over in the Dwarven District is the one you're looking for. She tends to hunters' pets while they seek training from her father.

Weapons Trainer

Woo Ping's stamina is simply astounding. Watching him practice his weapon techniques for hours on end, I felt sorry for the practice dummy afterward. I can't think of anyone better suited to train you in armed combat.
Master Woo Ping has mastered nearly every weapon known to man. He is especially deadly with his sword techniques. He spends a good deal of time over in the Weller's Arsenal waiting on new shipments of weapons to arrive if you need some training.

Officers' Lounge

Well, well, moving up in the world are we? You're looking for the Champions' Hall, and you'll find it on the southeast end of Old Town. Good luck!
All of a sudden you're a 'Defender of the Alliance' are you? Well, I suppose you'll be wanting to head to the Champions' Hall now. It's over in Old Town.

Druid

The Park is where you want to go if you are looking for druid trainers. Theridran and Maldryn can usually be found by the moonwell in the center of the district.
Well, you can find Theridan or Maldryn by the moonwell in the Park. Just head to the western area of Stormwind, north of the Mage District, but west of the Cathedral Square.

Hunter

Thorfin Stoneshield came to us all the way from Ironforge to bring us his expertise in hunting. If you don't mind breathing the smoke filled air of the Dwarven District then you'll find him at his house in the northeast area of the district.
A Hunter is it? Well, then you will want to speak with Thorfin Stoneshield over in the Dwarven District. Oh, and you be sure to tell him that if I step in his pet's business one more time, he's going to be training other hunters from behind bars in the Stockade!

Mage

The magi congregate in the Wizard's Sanctum in the Mage Quarter. Quite a tower they have there. Makes our barracks look like peasant hovels.
Sounds like you want to talk to Maginor Dumas! You can usually find him in the Wizard's Sanctum in the Mage Quarter. Course, you never know when or where those magi will portal off to.

Paladin

If you are looking to become a mighty paladin, there is no better teacher then Lord Grayson Shadowbreaker. He can be found in the Cathedral of Light in Cathedral Square.

Priest

I would suggest looking in the Cathedral of Light in Cathedral Square.
Laurena is the High Priestess of Stormwind. You can find her in the Catheral of Light in Cathedral Square.

Rogue

Old Town is where you should go if you want to find rogues. It's in the northeast corner of Stormwind.
Bah, rogues have done nothing but make our job here in Stormwind harder. I wish I could drag both Osborne and Mathias both out of Old Town and right to the Stockade.

Shaman

I don't know what's possessed you to look for a shaman... but I have seen someone who matches the profile. There's a woman who calls herself a Farseer on the shore in the Valley of Heroes.

Warlock

Warlocks, eh. Well, you didn't hear it from me, but I've heard rumors that those types gather at a bar called the Slaughtered Lamb in the Mage Quarter.
What? I don't know of any warlock trainers in Stormwind. Although... There have been some sightings of demonic activity over by The Slaughtered Lamb in the Mage Quarter. I suppose you could check there.

Warrior

Check around Old Town at the Barracks or the Pig and Whistle Tavern. If you go to the tavern, be sure to sample some of the fine brews. Puts the dwarven ales to shame, I tell ya.
Warriors can usually be found either at the Pig and Whistle Tavern or the Barracks in Old Town. Tell ya though, the tavern is probably a better place to look.
Looking for some training, eh? I could train you better then anyone in Stormwind but the guard prohibits it. I guess you will have to settle for one of those that has been hanging out around the Barracks or at the Pig and Whistle Tavern in Old Town.

Alchemy

If you need training in alchemy, there is only one place in Stormwind you need to go... Alchemy Needs. You can find it in the Mage Quarter along the outer rim of shops.
Tucked away in the Mage Quarter, there is a little shop called Alchemy Needs. You're bound to see all sort of strange shops on your way through the Mage Quarter, but if you stick to the outer rim you'll be sure to find it.

Blacksmithing

Therum Deepforge is the dwarf you want to talk to. One of the finest blacksmiths around if you ask me. You can find him in the heart of the Dwarven District.
You mean you can't smell the smoke of the Dwarven forges from here? Well, you will be looking for Therum Deepforge if you want to learn blacksmithing. He's over in the Dwarven District which is just north of the Cathedral Square.

Cooking

There's a great cook who works at the Pig and Whistle Tavern in Old Town. I've watched him use a knife when he cooks and just between you and me, I don't think he's always been a cook. Don't get me wrong... if you still want to learn, he's the best we have.
If you are looking to become a great cook, venture over to the Pig and Whistle Tavern in Old Town and talk to Stephen Ryback. That man knows how to cook up a rack of ribs like no other. Man... now you got me hungry for some of his famous ribs. Don't count on him teaching you that recipe though!

Enchanting

Ah, you're looking for Lucan Cordell. He runs a shop on the outside of the Magic Quarter on your way to the Stockade.
Lucan Cordell has a small shop on the canal by the Stockade. I am sure he will be able to teach you the art of enchanting.

Engineering

Stormwind's resident engineer trainer is an ingenious gnome by the name of Lilliam Sparkspindle. He can be found in the back of the Dwarven District.
Hey, that reminds me, I need to have my rocket boots repaired. Word to the wise my friend, rocket boots and gryphons don't mix. Oh, but you need directions... just head on over to the Dwarven District, you'll find Lilliam Sparkspindle towards the back.

First Aid

The Cathedral of Light is the center of all the healing practices of Stormwind. There you can find Shaina Fuller to help you learn this craft.
No better place to learn First Aid than under the watchful eye of Shaina Fuller at the Cathedral of Light. To get there, just look for the yellow rooftops, or the towering spire of the Cathedral itself which you can see from almost anywhere in the city.

Fishing

That bum Leland... all he does is sit out on the dock outside the Trade District and fish all day. I sure hope he's good at it for all the time he spends fishing. If you want to learn, why don't you go talk to him?
Nothing like spending a day down at Crystal Lake fishing. Arnold Leland is the man that taught me. You can usually find him out on the dock in the Canal District just fishing the day away. Oh, and don't believe any of the stories he tells you about monsters in the canals either.

Herbalism

You can find Tannysa standing outside Alchemy Needs in the Mage Quarter.
There's nothing quite like communing with nature... or at least that's what the night elves tell me. I'm not much for talking to flowers and trees, but I'm sure Tannysa could help you out. She's over in the Mage Quarter outside of Alchemy Needs.

InscriptionLeatherworking

Want to learn leatherworking, eh? Simon Tanner would be able to teach you. He can be found in Old Town at the Protective Hide.
You're into leather, eh? Sounds like you should talk to Simon Tanner over in Old Town. He runs a shop there called the Protective Hide.

Mining

Gelman Stonehand would be the one to talk to. I think he has a house over in the Dwarven District but I can't remember exactly. I would check over there.
Leave it to the dwarves to send a mining specialist from Ironforge to tell us how to mine. How hard is it to take a pick and chip away at some rock? Well, since he's here, he's probably the one you should see anyhow. His name is Gelman and he resides over in the Dwarven District.

Skinning

You are gonna want to head over to Old Town and drop by the Protective Hide if you are lookin' to learn skinning.
You know, I could run an orc through or slice up a troll? I could even carve my initials in an ogre's flank, but I just can't stand to skin an animal. Go figure, eh. Well, if you have the stomach for it, then go see Maris Granger at the Protective Hide in Old Town.

Tailoring

Duncan's Textiles employs one of the finest tailors in Stormwind, Georgio Bolero. Look for the shop over in the Mage Quarter.
A tailor is it? Well, if you hang out here long enough you'll eventually hear word of mouth about Georgio Bolero. He's been setting the trends for some months now. If you wish to learn from him, you can find him over in the Mage Quarter in the outer rim.

My best approximation to the hands the guards use would be the Sundered Gauntlets, http://thottbot.com/item=24897.

Just a friendly warning, they are MAIL, not plate. For purposes of the upcoming patch to transmogrify your items, plate wearers will NOT be able to use this model on another plate item.

City guards are way too powerful now. It's no fun when I'm trying to do achievements like the Fishing Diplomat, or a holiday achieve with putting something on Alliance races on my Horde character, and I get killed in three hits.

I agree with some others, the guards are ridiculously overpowered as of now. I used to have a reputation of terrorizing stormwind with friends more than 2 years ago, back in WotLK, when guards were almost a walkover. Now, I decided to go and see if it was still as fun as it used to be. I went into the mage tower (Guards do not spawn there nor can they reach you there) and got into a fight with some druid I couldn't beat (I was in s9 gear, just returned from a break) and decided to run out with rocket boots. The second I ran out of the tower I had my ass handed back to me by some guards who shot arrows through walls and the range was seemingly limitless.

TL;DR If you want to go to SW, bring friends :[

I have some other gloves I was using, I can't remember the name (I think it was Heavy Mithril Gauntlet, Тяжелые мифриловые латные рукавицы), but they clip the shield so I switched to the ones above.

People often use the Imperial Plate Chest in this set but I just prefer the look of the Surwich Breastplate.

The belt is pretty far off even though it matches with the colors of the Stormwind Tabard. A better one might be Belt of the Sanctuary, http://www.wowhead.com/item=65314.

My Paladin, Indomitous, is wearing xmogs of the entire Imperial Plate set, with Щит Максимилиана for the shield, Бледнолунный плащ for the cloak, and Касание банши for the gloves. The last two items were drops in the dead side of Stratholme, found while grinding for the mount (over 1000 total kills on various toons, and still no drop... but LOTS of runeblades... on the toons that can't use them.

Still looking for a way to cover up that bare spot in the upper arms, though.

As a fun fact, the Stormwind Royal Guards, level 100 Stormwind City Guards, Stormind Harbor Guards, and Commander Sharp respond to the following emotes as an Alliance player as of patch 6.1.2:

/kiss or /blow /chicken or /flap or /strut, /rude /salute /shy /wave

General Hammond Clay near the Valley of Heroes reacts to these emotes:

/salute /wave

I tested some emotes on other notable NPCs in Stormwind and Elwynn Forest; however, none reacted to any emotes. This was a fun experiment to do and I wanted to break this down for anyone curious.

6.2.3 Update: I double-checked and these are still correct. I am not sure why my post was downvoted but it is fact.

The original sword, Well-Used Sword, as been removed . _ . . but I found a sword that look exactly the same ( except the colors ).
